A Walk Through the Treasures of Alaró's Church

Al Rum continues with its visits dedicated to sharing our culture with the international community. This is the fourth activity of its kind developed in English, this time under the title 'Treasures of the Church of Alaró'. Members of the association will explain the main artworks visible in the Alaró temple.

How many types of marble are in the monumental main altarpiece of Alaró's church? From which century is the reliquary holding the True Cross? Who crafted the stunning stucco choir? What is the most beautiful sculpture? How much gold was spent on the altarpiece and chapel of Saint Anthony? What's the oldest part of the temple?

Afterwards, the weekly concert of The Organ Mornings will be celebrated. Miquel Bennàssar has prepared a program for this occasion dominated by British music.

Join us for an enlightening journey through history and art, followed by melodious harmonies that echo through the centuries. Don't miss this unique experience!

The meeting point is at the main entrance of the Church
